Sponsoring Information

Dear Madam, dear Sir,

first and foremost, thank you for your interest.

As some of you may know, I'm an Elite rider from Erlangen, Germany and, next to my cycling activities, I'm also currently working towards a doctoral degree in Theoretical Physics at the Max-Plank-Institute for the Sciences of Light, in cooperation with the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg.

Following a very successful 2011 season, I'm gearing up and aiming even higher for the upcoming year. I've joined Team Magnesium Pur, a small team based out of the outskirts of Munich, which has grown from its hobby roots to become highly successful in the regional and national ranks, developing its athletes to deliver professional-level performances while still maintaining its friendly, passionate environment.

Being a strong time-trialist, my fascination with all the technical aspects of a bicycle, and in particular aerodynamics, is immediately noticeable. As a physicist, I have first-hand experience with the necessity of employing high technology to accomplish elaborate tasks. Equally, the ability to communicate such technical needs is of uttermost importance.

By virtue of my technical background and supporting results on the bike, I am not only respected inside the peloton for my athletic performances: my discipline, training methodologies, communication skills, and perhaps most important here, my choices of equipment, are recognized by those with whom I interact. Be it through conversations taking place after a race or over a cup of coffee in the local bike shop, postings on Internet forums and discussion lists, or simply by flashing a particular piece of gear in an important event, I indirectly act as an opinion shaper.

It is in this context that I make myself available to develop collaborations - both endogenous and external to the cycling industry - with partners who value a strong technical culture and recognize the importance of proper channels to reach their target audience.

As an outstanding rider in a promising team with strong results across the German and South American calendar, I am in the optimal position to not only deliver exceptional sporting performances using your equipment or services, but to do so while acting as a brand ambassador for your company with the local, regional and international cycling and multi-sport communities.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you sincerely for your attention,

Ricardo
